graduation 2014

Graduation Day is almost here. The Commencement Exercises will take place on May 15, 2014.  In order for everything to go as smoothly as possible, we need to know if you are planning on taking part in the Commencement Exercises. Please fill out this form and return it to our office no later than April 15, 2014.

            Attendance at Graduation Rehearsal on May 2, 2014 is MANDATORY.

Graduation Rehearsal will start promptly at 2:45 p.m. and end at approximately 6:00 p.m. on May 2, 2014 in the Auditorium/Gym in the Mother of Perpetual Help Hall (Academic Building). If you are not able to attend the Graduation Rehearsal please contact Paulette Karbiwnyk at paulkarb@manor.edu or 215-885-2360 ext. 277.  At the rehearsal you will receive your caps, gowns, tassels and information about the Commencement Exercises.

You will also receive 2 admission tickets for the Commencement Exercises. These tickets are blue with white writing. No one will be admitted into the Auditorium for the Graduation Ceremony without a blue admission ticket.


Schedule for Graduation Day – May 15, 2014:
4:45 p.m. – Formal Academic Hooding
5:00 p.m. – Commencement Liturgy
6:30 p.m. – Formation of Academic Procession by the Basileiad Library
6:45 p.m. – Academic Procession begins
7:00 p.m. – Conferring of Degrees

Message for all Prospective Manor Graduates from Christie Prince, MS
Director of Counseling Services:

I am writing to congratulate you on completing your Manor college education!  This is a significant achievement and important step toward a fulfilling future.

I also extend an invitation to visit the Counseling Center as soon as possible if you would like assistance with your post-graduation plans.  The Transfer Coordinator is available to help you prepare to transfer to a four-year college, a nursing program, or other allied health program. The Director of Counseling can assist you with career testing, job search, writing a resume or preparing for interviews.

The Counseling Center is open Monday through Friday while school is in session.  You may drop in or schedule an appointment.  To schedule an appointment, fill out the form in the hallway outside of the counseling office, next to the gym in the academic building.  You may also call 215-885-6299, or email manorcounseling@manor.edu.

The Transfer Office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.  For an appointment please call 215-885-2360, extension 280 or email transfercenter@manor.edu.
Please note that the transfer office closes for the summer after the last day of exams.

If you are looking for a job now, or will be in the future, please come to the career fair on March 26 in the Manor Café.
