“Your futures are so bright, you have to wear shades!”
This is what students from the Business and Legal Studies programs were told as they all donned Manor College sunglasses upon being honored for academic excellence and service to the college and the community at the Business Scholars Ceremony on March 27, 2011.
Nearly 70 students were honored by the Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Systems & Technology and Paralegal Studies programs at the 28th annual event.
In addition, 23 new members and four new officers were inducted into Alpha Beta Gamma at the annual honor society induction ceremony. Alpha Beta Gamma is an international business honor society established in 1970 to recognize and encourage scholarship among business students at two-year colleges.
Twelve students were recognized for having a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 or more, while 24 received recognition for a GPA of 3.5 or more and 22 were honored for a GPA of 3.0 or better.
