Hello. I am Kathy Ann Malone, the Educational Coordinator at Manor College. Possessing licensure in both Dental Hygiene and Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, I have been active in the dental field for over 30 years. I earned my Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at SUNY/Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York, my Bachelors of Science degree at College Misericordia in Dallas, Pennsylvania, and my certificate for Expanded Functions Dental Assisting here at Manor College.  I plan in the near future to start to pursue a Master’s degree in Adult Education.

I have been employed at Manor College for almost 15 years.  Those years have been a very fulfilling time for me which not only has lead me to professional advances but also to personal growth.  I thoroughly enjoy my position here at Manor which includes plenty of student and patient contact. My office is constantly open for students to visit and discuss their program needs or just to chat about whatever is on their minds.  Presently I am an instructor for many of the EFDA courses (See the list below) as well as the Dental Materials course for the Dental Hygiene students.  I also continue with my dental hygiene career as one of the hygienists at Manor’s Dental Health Center.

In addition to my time at Manor, I do get to enjoy free time.  Spending time with my daughters and grandson are on top of that list.  I also enjoy traveling (a deep passion whether in person or via the internet), reading (especially Jane Austin), gardening, listening to music and just being with friends.
