Abby grew up in Louisiana and Pittsburgh, and then moved to Gambier, Ohio to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Mathematics from Kenyon College. She received a Master’s degree from Ohio State University in Mathematics Education. She taught at Central Ohio Technical College and Columbus State Community College before moving to Philadelphia to teach at Manor.
During her college years Abby was a member of the Cross Country and the Track team. Abby is married with two young daughters.
