Medical Faculty Spotlight

As you know, Manor College supports the concept of life-long learning. It is my pleasure to introduce to you the extraordinary faculty members of the Institute of Health Management. Our faculty is educated and experienced in real world medical practice, billing and/or coding. Faculty credentials include M.D., M.S.W., B.S.N., CCP, C.P.A.M, and D.C. Our coding instructors are current on the most recent exams and professional updates. They are very gracious in offering their expertise and experience and often follow up with the students beyond the classroom. We appreciate their taking the time to know and understand the needs of every student knowing that they always have in mind the best interest of their students.

Bernadette Clemens
Bernadette Clemens brings her expertise to us from 20 plus years experience in Medical Coding from Temple University Hospital. Ms. Clemens has mastered each facet of the Hospital coding arena. She started in the Outpatient Billing Department and earned her way, through education and hard work, to become Administrative Lead Specialist Coding Analyzer. Bernadette is the epitome of hands on, real life experience brought to the classroom. Her students are most grateful because Bernadette’s experience gives them hope to make it successfully in world of Coding.

Nina C. Grecco
Nina C. Grecco is one of our own, an alumni of Manor College, and a few others! Her Associates of Science degree in Clinical Lab Technology was received from Manor in 2002. Nina’s Bachelor’s degree from Russell Sage College is in Psychology, she also Minored in Spanish Language. She proudly holds her Master’s degree from State University of New York in Social Work and received her Nina brings an array of education and experience to our Medical Terminology course. She also instructs our Spanish for Healthcare Professionals course. Her diverse experience in the mental health field coupled with her laboratory technician experience has proven her to be quite an asset to the Manor Community. Ms. Grecco’s past experience lends itself to working, remarkably, with the students at Manor College.

Dr. Mary Louise Schneiders
Dr. Mary Louise Schneiders teaches Medical Terminology/Survey of Anatomy and Physiology courses for the Continuing Education Department at Manor College. Mary Louise earned a Doctorate in Podiatry from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and has brought 35 years of experience to our classrooms. Some of her medical expertise includes her private practice as well as working on staff at Abington Memorial Hospital and Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Dr. Schneiders has been recognized by the “Who’s Who” in American Colleges and Universities and the Podiatric Medicine Outstanding Young Woman in America. In addition to her many achievements, she has received the Marjorie Sitkoff Award for the Woman with the Highest Scholastic Average at the PA College of Podiatric Medicine. One student’s testimonial about Dr. Mary Louise Schneiders is, “Mary Lou has given me a wealth of information and a confidence to go into the field with success”. We, at Manor College, are proud to have someone as exceptional as Dr. Schneiders on our faculty.
