Wedding & Event Planning
Each student will be guided in planning their own mock special event or wedding. Whether you’re new to event planning, or are a professional looking to take your business to the next level, this class is for you. Project Management, responsibilities and duties, determining your clients or your style and wishes, along with forecasting trends will be discussed in length. If desired, students will be instructed on how to develop an event portfolio to use for your business.

The ABC’s of Supervising Others
Learn how to supervise others effectively to create a productive work environment for you and your employees. This workshop, intended for new supervisors or those seeking supervisory experience, will help you adjust to your new role with confidence. Develop skills in listening, asking questions, resolving conflict, and giving feedback. Identify techniques to deal with employee challenges such as hostility, complaints, and laziness. Acquire techniques for giving employees clear instructions.

Game Design
This class will briefly touch on the business aspects of owning a small board and card game company. We will discuss in depth and construct a working prototype of your game design. You do not have to have an idea in mind prior to class.
