Review for PA X-Ray Certification – 7 CEUs
This lecture only course is designed to prepare candidates for Pennsylvania X-ray Certification. As of May 2009, candidates must take the comprehensive Radiology Health and Safety section of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) exam and then submit an application with passing results to obtain certification. This seven hour course prepares the student by covering the following exam topics: Expose and evaluate (intraoral and extraoral), processing, mount and label, radiology safety-patient, and radiology safety operator.

Certification Review Course for Dental
Assistants – 37 CEUs
Gain greater earning potential as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). This review course is designed to prepare the dental assistant to take the Dental Assisting National Board Exam. Topics include: infection control, chairside procedures, dental materials and radiology. Eligibility Requirements: Two years full-time experience and current Healthcare Provider CPR.

Survey of Dental Anatomy – 33 CEUs
This course is designed for the practicing Dental Assistant wishing to learn comprehensive dental anatomy or to further his/her career into Expanded Functions. Emphasis is placed on terminology, nomenclature, and form and function of the mouth in general, as well as the study of each individual tooth.
