Future Students

Maybe you’ve seen our ads popping up around town on bus shelters and billboards, at train stations and on busses.

So what do we mean by 2 YEARS/2 OPTIONS? What do we mean when we say, “Prepared to transfer. Prepared to begin a career. Prepared to succeed?”

It’s actually a pretty simple and straightforward message. At Manor College, you have the opportunity to do one of two things, or both for that matter. But either way, we will prepare you to succeed.

PREPARED TO BEGIN A CAREER

By entering one of our associate degree career programs, you will be prepared to begin a rewarding and well-paying career in just two years. These programs include Dental Hygiene, Early Childhood Education, Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, Information Systems & Technology, Paralegal and Veterinary Technology.

Many of these programs boast a 90 to 100% employment rate for students seeking employment in their field after graduation. And these students are prepared for their careers. Over 93% of students responding to a graduate survey answered “yes” to the question, “Did Manor prepare you for your job.” Alumni consistently report back to us that they felt they were more prepared than their co-workers who graduated from different programs.

PREPARED TO TRANSFER

Other students transfer to four-year institutions in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree after graduating from programs such as Accounting, Business Administration, Communications, Management, Marketing and Psychology.

Four-year colleges and universities in our area love to accept Manor graduates who have demonstrated academic success. For the four-year institutions, they know they are getting a student who has shown he or she can do well in school. This increases their own retention rates, which is a very attractive proposition for them. So much so that there are many scholarship opportunities available to Manor graduates as they prepare to transfer. In addition, our many transfer agreements allow for a seamless transition, where you will transfer in as a junior without losing time or credits.

Many of our programs lend themselves to students choosing both options. In fields like paralegal, early childhood education, and others, students get their associate degree and begin working in their field after two years at the same time they may continue their education toward pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in that field.

PREPARED TO SUCCEED

Small, nurturing classroom environments that encourage student participation and expression, and classroom and laboratory experiences that encourage hands-on learning, all contribute to the success of our students.

At Manor College, our students flourish academically and socially. In this supportive environment, students are taught by faculty focused on their academic, spiritual, moral, and social growth.
