Services

  • Tutoring in most courses offered at Manor College
  • Assistance in developing study and general academic skills
  • Assistance in developing research skills for research and/or term papers
  • Tutoring in basic skills (reading, writing, mathematics)

Computer Hardware, Software, and Other Support Resources Available:

  • Access to the Manor Academic Computer Network, including access to word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics applications
  • Access, via the Manor Academic Computer Network, to content-area-specific (e.g. Chemistry 101) web-based resources connected with textbooks (URL’s or web addresses are generally included in the “To the Student” prefatory pages of the specific textbooks)
  • Access to videotape resources which provide instruction for developing general academic skills
  • Specialized dictionaries, reference materials and supplementary textbooks.

Tuesday:         8:00 AM-6:00 PM (After 6:00, closed for placement testing)
Wednesday:    8:00 AM-6:00 PM (After 6:00, closed for placement testing)          
Thursday:        8:00 AM-6:00 PM
Friday:             8:00 AM-6:00PM (After 6:00, closed for placement testing)
Saturday:         Closed (Placement Testing: 10:00am-1:00pm)
Sunday:           Closed
