Greetings fellow Manor College Alumni!

I’m a 1987 graduate of Manor’s Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program. The education I received at Manor College became the stepping stone to both my professional and personal life. For the last 20 years, I’ve run the front office and assisted my husband in his Dental practice located in Temple, Texas. A few years ago, I received a donation request from Manor College to help with the renovation cost of the Dental Center on campus. I’ve made donations to Manor through the years but this felt like an opportunity to really step things up and do something positive for my alma mater. I understand firsthand how important it is for the Dental Center to keep up with all the latest technology, materials and equipment. I decided to establish a family memorial fund, to honor my Grandparents Assunta & Pasquale Pace, I asked my family to help by contributing to Manor via our family fund. This simple request has quickly become a tradition in my family and I still encourage donations to Manor College in lieu of personal gift giving. As you’re aware the Dental Center at Manor gives back to the local community by continuing to provide affordable dental care. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage my fellow Manor alumni to consider establishing a family gifting fund at Manor College. Frivolously spending is out these days! Invest in something solid like the impact a donation to Manor can have on just one student. Twenty six years ago, I was the student on the receiving end of such generosity. Truly, two years at Manor changed my life and I consider it my personal responsibility to pay it backwards.

Peace be with you,
