LEGAL STUDIES STUDENT ASSOCIATION OF MANOR COLLEGE
The Legal Studies Student Association educates students about the legal profession; allows students to network with employers, paralegals and legal nurse consultants to broaden employment opportunities; and provides a forum for the blending of the experiences of students and professionals from many and diverse backgrounds.
The LSSA sponsors many events during the school year, including a kick-off coffee hour, the Legal Studies Faculty Tea, the Legal Studies Career Symposium and the Mock Trial. Guest speakers from the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, the Montgomery County Paralegal Association and the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants will be on campus throughout the year to advise and share their knowledge and experiences.
LSSA also liaises with other organizations on campus to promote community service.
Elections are held in mid-November. Officers serve on a calendar year basis.
Annual dues are $10.00. Application forms are available in the Business Division office, Mezzanine, Library Building.
