The Business Administration programs offered at Manor College prepare students with the skills, values, and knowledge necessary to compete in today’s dynamic business environment. We focus on creating a learning environment that exposes students to current technology, current business practices, and current legal issues.
Our student-centered environment addresses the needs of both traditional and nontraditional learners. Our programs are designed for students who want to complete an Associate Degree in Science and then want to transfer to a four-year college, those who want immediate entry into the workforce, or those who want to advance in their current career field.
All programs and concentrations require extensive general education and interdisciplinary coursework to ensure our business majors experience a well-rounded education. We place a high priority on excellence in teaching and learning through the continuous enhancement and improvement in our curriculum. Our faculty are practitioners in their respective career fields with extensive work experience and will share their expertise with you in the classroom.
Business Administration is a generic program for students interested in business but who are unsure of their career path. The courses in this program expose you to all areas of business, such as Introduction to Business, Management, Marketing, Business Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Communications, and Computer Science. Coursework includes analysis of real world business cases and an examination of current practices in business

Course Sequence for Business Administration
Manor’s Business Administration Program:
- Prepares you for entry-level positions in various business fields /career paths
- Accounting, Banking, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Retail, Hospitality, etc.
- Prepares you to transfer to a 4-year college
- Manor’s first two years mirrors the first two years of BA programs in a four-year college.
- Save Money. Manor’s tuition is significantly less than that of four-year private colleges and universities.
- Articulation agreements are in place with many of the areas finest private four-year colleges and universities. So most, if not all, of your courses will transfer.
- Many four-year colleges and universities offer transfer scholarships to students who complete their associate degree with a 3.0 GPA.
- Prepares you to advance in your career
- Many students work full time and attend Manor part time with the goal of career advancement.

Some students choose to pursue a dual major. Students can dual major in Business Administration and any program or concentration offered within the Business Studies Division, such as Accounting, Information Systems and Technology and Paralegal.
