DH201: The student will select and research a dental topic, construct
a two or three sided presentation board with visual aids explaining their
topic, prepare written handouts, then deliver a 7-10 minute oral
presentation. The student must be able
to answer questions from a lay and a peer audience. DH215: The student will assess, plan, implement and evaluate a
community dental health project; the students will work in groups and prepare
a written and oral report of their project and their findings. |
DH201: The student will obtain a minimum of 68 out of
80 possible points based on the criteria stated on the table clinic rubric
form. DH215: The student will achieve a minimum of an 85%
competency level based on the criteria specified on the community dental
health project grading criteria form. |

DH102: The student will select one procedure observed in a six hour
dental specialty observation assignment, research and gather information
relating to the procedure from both print and electronic sources, then
prepare an organized, logically presented, and properly documented written
report integrating information from both their observation experience and
their research. The student will
deliver a 10 minute oral presentation to their class and respond to any
questions presented. |
DH102: The student will obtain a minimum of 75% (21 out of 28
possible points) based on the criteria stated on the research paper grading
rubric. |
